La Specola

Technorati Tags: ,,

La Specola is a museum in italy that houses detailed anatomical wax models. The models were used in medical instruction in a time when most schools could only afford 1 cadaver/year, and were also there to show the triumvir of reason over superstition, bla bla bla. In short: It has a room full of wax replicas of dead people, that are just really creepy, and awesome. So for your edification I present: Really Neat Dead Things deadthings FlickrSets Here and Here There’s also a video tour here.

Ink’d!

My friend Ted had me do a drawing for his friend Jodi. Recently, Jodi had the picture made into a tattoo at Faith Tattoo in Santa Rosa, CA. The guy who did the lovely inkwork’s name is Mike. So; congrats on the new tattoo, Jodi, great job on the artowrk, Mike. :)

In the Beginning

Finally finished it. Dots. and dots… and dots later.

I haven’t seen much to make me giggle and laugh like a small child lately; but this would be one thing. Light up wallpaper. Whimsical, useful, and just plain damn fun. I can’t wait to hear more.

Oh Happy Day, the Sun is Shining

Currently, I’m working on a painting to post at work for people to scribble all over with compliments for one another, to try and boost worker morale.  Here’s a quick shot of the piece in progress.
